There is no right or wrong way of traveling. The hardest lesson was for us to accept, that there are no fix recipes to the challenges we \u2013 as first-time parents \u2013 have encountered. Traveling was also a big question mark, but I can firmly say now: this is one of the best things you can do with your kid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Because the greatest part of a road trip isn't arriving at your destination. It's all the wild stuff that happens along the way.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t

Mindset is the key! It may be difficult to start, but on the road, you\u2019ll be just fine.<\/p>\n

  • Will your baby cry for an hour in the car? Probably.<\/li>\n
  • Will you need more planning? Definitely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    However, these hiccups can come & go at your own home. The eagerness when you know you can travel is sticky. If your child(ren) feel your happiness, they will adjust much quicker.<\/p>\n

    If choosing close destinations make you feel comfortable, start with those ones. There is no correlation between the distance & the amount of fun you can have. We\u2019ve discovered more than 70 places, 3 countries in the last 2 years. We took baby steps. A lot of them. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
