For years we have been talking about visiting Slovenia. It seemed to be such an easy destination \u2013 giving the fact, it\u2019s our neighbor country \u2013 yet we had to wait until spring 2024. We spent all together 5 days in Slovenia, doing a mini road trip around Ljubljana & the Bled region - which rightfully a gem on Slovenia\u2019s crown. There is a massive hype about Bled in the galaxy of social media. For a reason. We started the journey in Ljubljana as a mini \u201eStop over<\/em><\/strong>\u201d. There were 3 reasons to stop here:<\/p>\n

1) to rest after hours of sitting in the car,<\/p>\n

2) to have a late lunch other than sandwiches on the road &<\/p>\n

3) to discover its super compact, yet beautiful city center.<\/p>\n
